Linked wallets, or a wallet cluster, are addresses that appear to be controlled by the same person or group. Blockchains don't label who owns what, so links are inferred from behaviour.
Common signals
- Shared funding. Several wallets receive gas or tokens from the same source, often just before they trade.
- Coordinated timing. Wallets buy or sell within seconds of each other, repeatedly.
- Identical amounts. Matching buy and sell sizes across wallets.
- Repeated co-trading. The same wallets turn up together across many different tokens.
Why it matters
Almost every memecoin manipulation tactic relies on one group looking like many independent people. Bundled launches, wash trading, fake holder counts and fake "smart money" convergence all work this way.
How Amplified uses it
Amplified groups linked wallets and counts each group once, in holder checks, volume estimates and Convergence alerts. A group of fifty wallets shows up as one actor.
